Poor chap. He has no name at all
See, he's all sad
Now, he's not going in my shop at all. There was a fault in the sock that I didn't notice until I'd nearly finished him so after fixing that which left him with a rather fetching scar across his head, I decided he wasn't going in the shop. But, I have plans for him. He's going to have some adventures along with us and I'm sure he will get acquainted with Baby Bears in the coming weeks but he doesn't have a name! And our naming efforts are exhausted by trying to come up with names for Baby Bears.
So, drop your comments here before Wednesday 3rd November at 5pm and tell me what you think I should call him. And if your name is chosen, you can choose a mini sock bear from my Etsy shop to be all yours!
I'd call him Baloo after the bear in the jungle book, but also because he's B-lue! sorry ;)
ReplyDeleteMy suggestion for his name - "Blueberry Bear" cos they're grey/blue too and he looks kind of sad.....
ReplyDeleteYour right he does look sad, maybe even more sad because he has no name!
ReplyDeleteI thought 'Sad Eric' I dont know why he looks like an Eric. Or you could have Tristan since Triste means sad or sorrow in french.
scarski because he has a scar...like in sarski and hutch, but scar...i think he would be very happy with me, my kittens would love him
ReplyDeleteHe looks like a Marvin to me...
ReplyDeleteHe's adorable, even if he does look a little sad. I'd call him Greyson. I'm LOVING that name right now.
ReplyDeleteCuthbertson....nuff said!
ReplyDeletegordon, deff a gordon
ReplyDeleteI fiddled with the words blue and gray and came up with "Ugly Bear" but then I re-arranged them again but substituted the "a" in gray for an "e" and the name came up as "Rebel Guy"!
ReplyDeleteLimbly - Just came to me looking at him! Such a cutie!
ReplyDeleteHe looks like a Sam to me.
ReplyDeleteArchie - he's definitely an Archie!
ReplyDeleteGill
I think he looks like a 'Lyle'!
ReplyDeleteI'd say he's a Dylan!
ReplyDeleteMikhail - He looks a bit Russian to me.
ReplyDeleteFreddy
ReplyDeleteBilby was the name of my daughter's very dear dog, who is no longer with us. Nice name I think.
ReplyDeleteHe has to be called " Adventure Bear" well so my 4 year old says!
ReplyDeleteIt's a she: Lily!!!
ReplyDeleteI think you should call him 30 cent coz with the scar he looks kinda hard but not quite as hard as 50 cent ! he he he.
ReplyDeletePrince, because hes little thin and purple
ReplyDeleteShell. After Mary Shelly's book; Frankenstein (referring to the scar on scar-bear's head)
ReplyDeleteHe looks like a Malcolm to me
ReplyDeleteWell if hes going to be an adventurer perhaps he should be Bryson!
ReplyDeleteBlueberry
ReplyDeleteHe looks like a right little Herbert to me.
ReplyDeleteI'd call him Al (Pacino - Scarface!) Hope he enjoys his travels
ReplyDeleteHi found your blog through Feltmeupdesigns post on twitter and couldn't resist adding a name to the pot! My vote is for Rupert the chap def looks like a Rupert to me :)
ReplyDeleteI'd say he's a Oscar Bear @emmacella
ReplyDeleteI think he should be Bubaloo-Bob (This is with a little imput from my 6 year old!)
ReplyDelete@MWeston13
the stripes make him look a bit like a criminal, in the cutest possible way, so im going for 'bronson' after charles bronson...
ReplyDelete:)
I would call him Stripy because he has lots of stripes in him
ReplyDeleteI suggest "Strisciolino" that is a cute way to tell "stripy" in Italian! :)
ReplyDeleteI think he should be called Montana after Tony Montana in Scarface!
ReplyDeleteI think you should call him Edward Sockbear... after Edward Scissorhands, who was a scarred gentle soul who just wanted to be loved... also he said "I am not complete" and the sock he was made from was flawed... besides the movie makes me cry and Sockbear deserves his happy ending :)
ReplyDeleteI really like Steve, he looks like a bear that should be called Steve. Yep Steve it is:)))
